Removal of algae, moss and lichen
| The IBIX® system is recommended for removing biological slime such as algae, moss and lichen that form on stone surfaces. The IBIX® method is suitable for cleaning monuments in natural stone, sandstone and limestone, especially delicate ones which have biological coatings, efflorescence and stains. The dry IBIX method with its controlled projection of calcium carbonate specifically CARBONART Z6 for artistic cleaning is particularly recommended for cleaning very porous and degraded surfaces and for particularly delicate decorative works, friezes, mouldings and recesses.
